My Practice

Individual Therapy

Individual therapy offers a confidential space for you to explore your current emotional experience, relational patterns, and inner conflicts as they emerge in the therapeutic process. The work focuses on making sense of recurring difficulties, increasing awareness of internal states, and understanding how these patterns are expressed in your thoughts, feelings, and relationships. Attention is given to what unfolds in the therapeutic relationship itself, as this often reflects important aspects of your inner world. The process supports greater clarity, emotional integration, and the capacity to relate to yourself and others in a more conscious and flexible way.

Couples Therapy

Couples therapy offers a contained space in which the relationship can be observed as it unfolds in the present moment. Attention is given to patterns of communication, emotional reactions, and the way each partner experiences the other. Within this process, the relational field between partners becomes visible. Projections, expectations, and recurring patterns of interaction can be recognized as they are activated in the relationship itself. Through this work, couples begin to see more clearly what is being enacted between them and how these dynamics shape connection, conflict, and distance.

Group Therapy

Group therapy offers a safe space for personal growth, self-exploration, and meaningful connection. In my practice, it is often combined with culinary art therapy, where cooking becomes a shared experiential process that supports emotional expression, creativity, and relational awareness. Preparing and sharing food engages the body and senses, helping participants regulate affect in real time while making inner experiences more accessible. This embodied, relational work deepens self-understanding, reveals patterns of relating, and supports more flexible and authentic ways of being with others.

My Approach

Confidentiality

Confidentiality is central to my practice. All personal information and sessions are treated with strict privacy and care.

Empathy

I offer an attuned therapeutic space where you can feel heard, understood, and supported. At times, psychotherapy also involves gentle and thoughtful confrontation, when unconscious patterns need to be brought into awareness in order to support change and integration.

Integrative Perspective

My work is grounded in Jungian analytical psychology and informed by attachment theory, object relations, and developmental perspectives. I work with an integrative understanding of psychological life that includes both relational and embodied dimensions. My research interests extend into culinary psychology and the relationship between food, eating culture, and identity formation. I explore how everyday dietary practices reflect and shape personal and cultural identity, as well as how eating behaviour carries symbolic and psychosocial meaning within clinical contexts.

Therapeutic Framework

My practice is based in Sofia, Bulgaria, 16 Lyuben Karavelov Street, doorbell 3. It is located within “Pure Focus Soul Kitchen”, a psychotherapy space that I share with other psychotherapists.

Sessions last 50 minutes and are held weekly in person when possible, with online sessions available in certain cases. Consistency and clear boundaries are an important part of the therapeutic process.

Further details regarding the therapeutic framework are outlined in the Psychotherapeutic Services Agreement and Informed Consent, which is signed at the beginning of our work together.

I work in Bulgarian (native), English, Spanish, and Russian
